Working together

The OVIS meetings are held @ DeDutch (Capri Shopping Centre) the first Monday of each month with the exception of holidays. There are no meetings in the months of July & August, as these are usually the months in which members all go in different directions.

Bowling & Curling

Join us for alley bowling every Monday @ 9:30 am – arriving about 9:-9:20 so as to be ready to go by 9:30. – Located at the Capri Lanes on Gordon.

Curling practices are @ 10:30am and we play in the commercial league @ 5:30 on Mondays

Cribbage

Crib is held at the CNIB , in the board room every Tuesday @ 1:00pm. The time schedule for the crib is usually very close to that of the bowling season.

Day Trips

Day trips are optional & are decided on where and when and are arranged for the mid June time frame. All members and their guide or guest are welcome to attend this function. A barbecue is often chosen over a trip and is well attended, by all.Time & place is also decided by the members.

BBQs

Often in place of a day trip is our BBQ held in either June or July. Different persons are asked to bring different foods (salads, cookies, cakes etc.). OVIS will supply basic necessary items like meat, desserts, pop and coffee. Enjoy mingling with members and playing word games, crochet, bocce and more!
